From a single Elbe tank farm to 26 million cubic meters
What started in 1989 as one 40,000 m³ facility in Hamburg is now a seven-terminal network spanning Europe, Asia, the Middle East and North America.
The group's growth followed its customers. As European refiners looked east and Asian producers looked west, ProLogistiks built capacity at the points where those flows meet — the ARA hub, Jurong, Fujairah, the US Gulf Coast, and finally China.
Qingdao entered service in 2016 as the group's North Asia crude gateway, joined by Zhoushan in 2020 for bonded bunkering and chemical parcels. Chinese volume has grown every year since, and in 2024 the group incorporated ProLogistiks (China) Storage & Logistics Co., Ltd. so clients could contract locally rather than through Hamburg.
Today the China business runs domestic storage and handling, arranges export logistics through the wider network, and gives Chinese cargo owners the same engineering standards, reporting discipline and safety record the group is known for in Europe.
